About us
East African Cultural Heritage Association - EACHA is a non-profit organization and a place to share issues and activities of interest to the people of East Africa in Canada and Canadian friends of East Africa.
The goal of the East African Cultural Heritage Association is to maintain, develop and promote the social, cultural and heritage/historic roots and values of the people of East Africa in an open, democratic and humanitarian manner.
We also intend to represent and assist the East African community in all aspects of Canadian society; to help members of the Association obtain access to and participation in the social, cultural, educational, sporting, and economic life of Canada; and to enhance opportunities for members in our Association to maintain and develop all aspects of the Eat African community. We write reference letters for our members for any purpose they need.
We fully endorse the United Nations Human Rights Declaration, and are founded on principles of social justice and human solidarity.
